Booking A Delivery Service
Before booking a collection you will
require the following information:-
Weight
Number of items
Dimensions (in cm)
Delivery County
Delivery Service Required
Time goods will be available
The Time you close
Give an order number if required
Is additional insurance required?
The consignment number.
If you are a regular customer then you can just book. “Overnight UK collection ready at 1pm”
Payment Terms
Our payment terms are 14 days from the date of invoice. Late payment charges will be added for late payment.
Volumetric Weight Calculations
Charges are based on whichever is the greater of the weight or the volumetric weight equivalent.
Volumetric weight can be calculated by multiplying the length, width and height of a parcel (cm) and dividing that figure by 5000.
So you have a parcel that is 10 kilos but the size was 50 x 40 x 40 =80000 / 5000 = 16 then you would be charged for the 16 kilo volumetric weight.
Additional Insurance
If you require additional insurance then this can be added at £ 15 / £1000 value. You must email us the value of the consignment whilst requesting the additional cover. This will only be confirmed when you have received a confirmation email back from us.
Consignment Note Numbers
We are happy to supply you with pre-printed delivery notes. When the item is collected our driver will also sign the consignment note and leave the back copy with you.
It is important that your consignment note has a telephone number for the consignee and a description of the goods being sent.
When making a booking please confirm if you require sameday delivery or Overnight.
